Wykorzystanie nowoczesnych technik w leczeniu choroby hemoroidalnej- przegląd metod stosowanych w praktyce klinicznej

Wstydliwa dolegliwość, jaką jest choroba hemoroidalna, mimo niedokładnie zbadanego patomechanizmu, wciąż przysparza problemy wielu osobom na całym świecie. Tradycyjne metody leczenia wiązały się z powikłaniami oraz długim okresem rekonwalescencji, lecz rozwój technologii umożliwił wynalezienie metod charakteryzujących się mniejszą inwazyjnością, szybszym powrotem do codziennych aktywności, mniejszym ryzykiem powikłań, a także redukcją bólu pooperacyjnego. Chociaż w ostatnich latach powstało wiele skutecznych metod leczenia choroby hemoroidalnej, wciąż nie istnieje jedna uniwersalna dla wszystkich metoda, a leczenie uzależnione jest m. in. od stopnia zaawansowania choroby oraz nasilenia dolegliwości, które jej towarzyszą. W pracy opisano tradycyjne sposoby leczenia choroby hemoroidalnej tj. hemoroidektomię, gumkowanie hemoroidów oraz skleroterapię, a także nowoczesne metody wykorzystujące fotokoagulację i fale elektromagnetyczne o częstotliwości radiowej. Przybliżono również kryteria, na podstawie których dobierane jest leczenie, a ponadto, zwrócono uwagę na znaczenie profilaktyki oraz edukacji pacjentów w zapobieganiu rozwojowi i nawrotom choroby.
